This is an interesting article on manufacturing coming back to the US from China. And it's actually Chinese companies that are opening locations in the US mostly due to the fact that there isn't that much of a cost savings for manufacturing certain products in China - given US worker productivity & skill level, rising living standards in China, and better access for Chinese companies to the overall North American market.
